Heirloom 1930s Blue Silk Chiffon Floral Dress With Flutter Sleeve XS S

A one of a kind 1930s art deco dress, in a gorgeous powder blue. It’s cut on the bias from semi-sheer silk chiffon in multiple panels, with a colourful floral print all over. The rounded neckline is framed by small flutter sleeves with netting, and the empire waist is finished with a V-shaped detail that fastens with a popper button. The skirt is slightly asymmetric and flowy, with hand-stitched hems, and falls to the ankle. We washed it by hand, mended it stitch by stitch, and added delicate floral appliqués, all sewn on by hand, to give it a new life. It’s perfect for a special occasion, a summer wedding, or a party.
